FERTILISER & CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES · ENGINEERING & TRADE
Our own nitric acid and ammonium nitrate technology,
engineered around your energy balance.
The licence, the process design and the plant support come from the same engineers. Nitric acid and ammonium nitrate are ours — and so are CAN, calcium and magnesium nitrate, MAP and DAP, NPK and sulphuric acid. Around them we engineer and revamp the rest of the complex, troubleshoot the ammonia and urea units beside it, and trade the fertilisers those plants produce.
WHAT WE DO
Four capabilities, one engineering team
ARCET works across the full life of a nitrogen-chemistry plant — designing new ones, upgrading existing ones, supplying the catalysts and abatement systems that keep them within limits, and trading the products they make.
Nitric Acid Plants
Licensed high-pressure and medium-pressure process design, sized to each project’s feed conditions, site constraints and target capacity — with no fixed ceiling on plant size.
Ammonium Nitrate Plants
High-efficiency AN plants engineered end to end — neutralisation, evaporation and prilling, including the prilling tower itself, for both LDAN and HDAN production.
Catalysts & Emissions Control
Precious-metal ammonia oxidation gauzes, secondary N₂O decomposition, tail-gas DeNOx systems and high-efficiency platinum recovery filtration with guaranteed performance.
Revamp, Relocation & Second-Hand Plants
Sourcing, relocating and refurbishing existing plants; de-bottlenecking and capacity uprates on plants already in operation, with engineering from diagnosis through start-up.
WHY ARCET
Process technology developed and owned in-house
ARCET’s process design is developed in-house — process flow, heat and mass balances, equipment sizing and detailed engineering — by our own process, mechanical and instrumentation engineers.
PROCESS
From ammonia to finished product
The two processes at the core of ARCET’s technology, and the abatement systems that sit alongside them.

Simplified block flow. ARCET engineers both mono high-pressure and medium-pressure nitric acid configurations, with the abatement train selected per project and per emissions limit.
TECHNOLOGY RANGE
Beyond nitrogen chemistry
Nitric acid and ammonium nitrate are ARCET’s core, but the licensed portfolio runs wider — CAN, calcium and magnesium nitrate, MAP and DAP, NPK and sulphuric acid all carry our own process design. Phosphoric acid, potassium nitrate and the ammonia and urea units beside them we engineer and integrate.
Every technology is engineered to the project: feed conditions, site constraints, climate data and the capacity the client actually needs.
SERVICES
Across the whole life of the plant
Process & detailed engineering
Process flow diagrams, heat and mass balances, equipment sizing, and full detailed design for new plants.
Revamp & de-bottlenecking
Diagnostic engineering on operating plants, capacity uprate studies, abatement retrofits and start-up performance improvement.
Relocation & refurbishment
Sourcing second-hand plants, dismantling, re-engineering and reinstallation — extending the life of proven equipment.
Commissioning & plant management
Start-up support, operator training and ongoing plant management services after relocation, revamp or commissioning.
INTERNATIONAL TRADING
The products these plants make
Alongside the engineering business, ARCET’s international trading division sources and trades fertilisers and industrial chemicals worldwide — connecting producers and buyers, and managing the commercial and logistics chain from origin to destination.
WHO WE ARE
ARCET
Headquartered in Adana, Türkiye, with a branch office in Ankara and a presence in the United States, ARCET operates at the intersection of process engineering and international trade — serving clients across the nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and wider fertiliser industries.
Our engineering team has taken ARCET from a technology-integration partner to a company with its own licensed process design capability, developed in-house and backed by investment in engineering staff and industry-standard process simulation and design software.
