ABOUT US

ARCET

A Turkish engineering and industrial trading company built around one core strength: our own licensed process technology for nitric acid and ammonium nitrate production.

COMPANY PROFILE

Process engineering and international trade, under one roof

Headquartered in Adana, Türkiye, with a branch office in Ankara and a presence in the United States, ARCET serves clients across the nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and wider fertiliser industries.

We work at both ends of the same industry. On the engineering side we design and deliver complete plants — process design, detailed engineering, catalysts and emissions control, commissioning and long-term plant support. On the trading side we source and move the fertilisers and industrial chemicals that plants like these produce.

That combination is unusual, and it is deliberate: it keeps our engineers close to the commercial realities of the market they design for.

ARCET structure: licensed technology, engineering and plant services, and trading, held together by the same engineers

Three arms, one engineering department. The third is the one people expect least from an engineering company, and it is the one that tells us how the market is actually behaving.

WHAT SETS US APART

Four things worth knowing

Licensed technology of our own

Nitric acid and ammonium nitrate process design developed and owned by ARCET. Plants are sized to the project, with no fixed capacity ceiling.

Engineering done in-house

Process flow, heat and mass balances, equipment sizing and detailed design by our own process, mechanical and instrumentation engineers, using industry-standard simulation software.

Second-hand plants, properly re-engineered

Sourcing, relocating and refurbishing existing plants is a discipline of its own. We treat it as engineering work, not logistics — dismantling, re-engineering and capacity uprate together.

Catalysts and emissions, guaranteed

Ammonia oxidation gauzes, N₂O and NOx abatement, and platinum recovery filtration delivered with guaranteed droplet-removal efficiency and engineered pressure-drop performance.

HOW WE GOT HERE

From integration partner to technology owner

ARCET did not start as a licensor. For years the company delivered nitric acid and ammonium nitrate projects by integrating licensed technology — engineering around a licence rather than owning one.

That changed with a deliberate investment in engineering capability: hiring process, mechanical and instrumentation engineers, adopting industry-standard process simulation and design software, and developing our own process design end to end — through to the prilling tower and its nozzle.

Today ARCET offers its own licensed process technology for both high-pressure and medium-pressure nitric acid plants and for high-efficiency ammonium nitrate plants producing LDAN and HDAN. That licensed portfolio now also covers CAN, calcium and magnesium nitrate, MAP and DAP, NPK compounds and sulphuric acid. Around it we engineer and integrate the rest of the complex — phosphoric acid, potassium nitrate, and the ammonia and urea units already on site.

Talk to the people who do the work

New plant, revamp, relocation, catalysts and filtration — you will be speaking with the engineers who do the work. On a cargo, with the traders who handle it. Either way, not a sales layer above them.
